Rather than my normal Friday post, I was honored this week to be a guest writer on Stonemaier Games’ blog with the topic of Enhancing Crowdfunding Projects with Freelancers. Jamey Stegmaier’s writing has been a foundation in my understanding of the business and marketing side of the game industry, especially Kickstarter. I highly recommend his blog to anyone interested in game design, the game industry, or running Kickstarter projects.  This guest post was a great opportunity for me to give back to the gaming community I enjoy so much.

With this guest post in mind, if any of you are interested in writing a guest post for my blog please let me know. I would be very open to guest posts from various perspectives.

Some ideas for possible guest posts include:

  • Fellow Freelancers discussing their experiences and insights, especially artists, designers, layout, and writers who have different experiences and insights than I do as a proofreader/editor.
  • Game Publishers discussing utilizing freelancers on their projects. You are involved in the day to day work and communication with freelancers. How can we work alongside you more effectively?
  • Game Industry Bloggers/Podcasts/Videocasts discussing their thoughts and experiences interacting with freelancers who help with games they review and discuss.

I am open to other ideas as well. If you really have an interest in writing for my blog, leave a comment below, send me a Facebook or Twitter message, or contact me directly using this form.
