Back in January 2018, I stepped in as a guest host for the Game Store Prophets podcast while Mike Perna took a small break. I enjoyed the time and thought I might return occasionally as a guest host. Things accelerated more quickly than expected. In July, because of some life challenges, Mike Perna needed to take an extended leave from the podcast. We continue to pray for Mike as he focuses on his family and other aspects of the Innroads Ministries‘ business. Jeff Romo and Daniel Fisher approached me at that time, asking me to take on a more permanent role as a host for Game Store Prophets. I spent a lot of time praying about that possibility. I hadn’t mentioned the podcast much here in the blog yet, because I wasn’t sure how this would work in my life with my various responsibilities, especially my caregiving. I feel the podcast is a good outlet for me and a wonderful ministry, so I agreed on a trial basis. I have missed some episodes along the way, but we are starting to find a rhythm as hosts of the podcasts and are discussing possible changes, mostly behind the scenes, for making the podcast even better. Discussions have even begun about our upcoming 200th episode of GSP.
